Welcome to
Baguazhang Glasgow

Sometimes known as, ‘Pa Kua Chang’ or Ba Gua Zhang or Ba Gua or Eight Trigram Palm. Baguazhang, along with Tai Chi and Hsing Yi, is regarded as one of the internal martial arts.
The familar aspect of bagua is circle walking. The practitioner walking continuously in a circle. Changing direction using a short sequence of movements. A palm change is a short form that reverses the direction of circle walking once completed. Bagua embodies its principles and techniques in palm changes. Movement in terms of continuous flow is what gives bagua its hypnotic beauty.
The most popular style in England and Scotland is the Gao Yi Sheng style as taught by Lou De Xiu.
Glasgow Ba Gua has now closed. Contact Dave Bolton, Manchester Ba Gua, for further information.
